Dig the engineering and the plastic pallets, Warner. I hope you have a helper down there, or you're going to have some serious stairs to do!

I ditched the wheelbarrow after a couple loads. Now it goes down the slide while someone or hopefully someone’s stack.

Before the slide I carried all the wood by hand. We have been in this house 3 winters and it’s been an evolving process. Hopefully next year I’ll have the wood in a shed...

Thank you, I’d like to cut a hole in the wall for a chute like yours but can’t justify it with the bulked there already.

I have to carry all mine up 4 steps then down. Entire basement is finished so I don’t wanna make to big of mess. I do have one window I could pass it through if I could get a helper on one end

Dang. Makes me appreciate not having a basement! My hat is off to you as I remember doing that a long, long time ago.

I remember having to carry armloads of wood down the hatchway stairs. Almost a daily chore at dad's getting a wheelbarrow of wood when i was a kid. The stairs were oversized which made it a lot harder for me. Later years dad would fill the it with a few wheelbarrows full.
