Powertac Warrior Reloaded LED Flashlight,700 Lumens I love this light. Not too big, throws a ridiculously bright beam at night, but has a selector switch for different levels of brightness. Lifetime warranty, and rechargeable battery that you put the whole light in and not have to fiddle with disassembly/reassembly. I’ve owned lots of lights, and have been really happy with this one.
Powergreen solar charged flashlights are amazing. The beam is better than any light I've ever owned. $20 and no batteries to wonk out all the time!
Well I gave away my Coast HL7 good headlamp for the money , uses AAA battery's fast. Still have the HL27 use it almost everyday , now looking at the Coast HL8R 800 lm Rechargeable What I really like on these is the flood function
First impressions: 1) good weight in the hand...feels solid 2)There are five light settings. Eco-low-mid-high-turbo. I can only detect four. 3) despite above point, it lights up a spot really well. 4) if you want it for pocket EDC it is too big in my opinion. For carrying in backpack, truck glove box, in house...but i would carry it for a specific purpose Still early. Still getting used go the thing. I wanted a small EDC and a bigger one with more power. USB rechargeable fits into my plan pretty well. Others I considered: LD22: cheaper, same size, AAx2....less power One of the RCs...didn't like having a new/unique charger TK20: more$$, pretty big (Place near me sells Fenix)
I got this small flashlight a few years ago from one of our secret Santa here on FHC. I think MasterMech may have given it to me? I carry on my belt at work and it’s been great!
Zang no paint loss??? I got one after I saw your SS one... my lense is broke and has a whole lotta of silver coming through... but i really like the little light...
Is there anyone who uses a Nitecore TM26? Got some good reviews for this, It has 4000 lumens and an OLED display to monitor the flashlight. I think this one should be best for outdoor activities. Suggestions from all of you are helpful for me.
I've had one for several years. It's fun to use. It's more of a bright floodlight, with no focus ability. It comes with 4 rechargeable batteries that charge while in the casing. The unit is metal, cold to the touch in winter. If you are looking for a tight, narrow beam of light, look elsewhere. If you want to light up an area with a handheld, this will do it. Not something to carry in a pocket. It does come with a holster for belt wear. I've not used it for any duration, so I don't have a good feel for battery duration.
Sounds and looks a lot like my ProTac 2L that's been my EDC for 6-7 years now. Mine is the older CR123A model but I found some 16650 (18650's won't fit) cells that I recharge to power it. Last about a month in-between charges and I keep 3 on-hand. 1 in the light, 2 fully charged in a small plastic case in my laptop bag. Which also follows me everywhere. The newer 2L's are brighter in High and can use 18650's out of the box.
