    Start up procedure.
    (1) Add pellets to the fire tray.
    (2) Turn rocker switch to draft fan.
    (3) Start fire with lighter goop and a match or use torch
    (4) Turn rocker switch to full up (Feed system)
    (5) Set draft fan to high
    (6) PRESS START BUTTON
    (7) Close door and watch fire.
    (8) Be sure the room fan is on at least medium

The start button activates the auger system cycle timer and it will handle the pellet feed until the low limit snap switch closes and takes over the power to the auger cycle timer.

The unit SHOULD run and build a good fire.

If after 20 minutes or so of fire and then the fire goes out it is likely that the low temp snap switch is not working.

I am not exactly sure where the snap switch is located on that model.... been many years since we had one similar.

Lets try the start up sequence posted above and see what happens.

If it still fails to operate properly then we will go from there....

Your stove looks like an MP40
The 1000 on the control board is just the model of the board.
The 1000 is the early board.
The 2000 is the later board.

There are several places online that you can get a manual on the stove

    The cost is reasonable.

Get the service manual as well as the owner manual...

    I'm having a similar problem...

I light the pellets, let them burn for 5 or so minutes, shut the door and turn the draft fan on (rocker switch:middle position) and I press the start button.
When I press the start button with the the rocker switch in the draft fan position, the auger continually feeds pellets and the fire gets really going.
When the fire is going good, I flip the switch to the top position (feed system) and press the start button again. I'll walk away to because I have other things
to do rather than to stand and stare at the stove to make sure it is augering and continuing, but sometimes I'll go back in 15 or 20 minutes and the fire is completely out.
Does anyone have any advice? Should I not press the "start" button with the rocker switch in the middle "draft fan" position? Is there a thermocouple that might need
to be replaced? I really don't have much experience with pellet stoves, but some nights I have had the fire going fine and other nights it just goes out on its know.
I am trying to learn the order of operations for this stove and control board, the above advice did help, but I don't think I am completely there with reliably starting it
and keeping it running. I will attach a few pictures of what I have. Thanks in advance.
