The Dump Hoarding Thread

When this was wet I thought it was hard maple, but the growth rings said otherwise. This is very heavy and split very easily.

 

Might be honey locust. End grain and split color look right. The stuff is HEAVY and does split easily.

When I see it at the dump there isn't much.

 

Yes very heavy. There’s another species I can check off.
