Looks good, never heard of them. Although at this point it's impossible to keep up with all the breweries around NY. I find when I'm looking to spend money, I've not been venturing out as much into trying new breweries as much as just sticking to the ones I know never disappoint. So as of late that means stuff like Other Half, Grimm (occasionally), Industrial Arts and then all the best Vermont stuff that becomes available around here like Fiddlehead or Lawson's. The go-to's have definitely been fiddlehead 12packs or Industrial Arts wrench 12 packs. $20+ 4packs aren't always in my budget. I love trying new stuff. But with how pricey most of it is, if it can't hang with something half it's price, I'll pretty much never buy anything from that brewery again. I feel like that sounds pretty harsh, but truth be told the market is way too saturated at this point. I'm far more impressed with the mid grade stuff that can be just as good as the top tier stuff, for far less money.
I agree that there is soooo many options out there and some of them do price themselves out to a point. That being said, I would glady drop $20-$25 on a really good 4 pack of 16 ouncers that is high in alcohol. Drinking at home, even if it's $5 or more a can, is much cheaper than a dui.
Yes it is. Had a real quick turn and burn trip to vermont Thursday evening/Friday morning and went right passed so I had to stop!
The place is huge for a “satellite “ brewery. I only went in as far as I had go to grab some cans to go but was definitely impressed.
Never seen that Fiddlehead! I've been buying 12 packs of their regular IPA now that they ship it regularly to NY. Also love some Zero Gravity as a solid "mid grade" craft option. They actually sell it at Costco here for pretty dang cheap.
I’ve had some utterly fantastic beers as of late. Multiple trips to Vermont have brought me to the following breweries: Fidens in Albany, Tree House in Deerfield Mass, Hill Farmstead in Vermont. Too many delicious offerings to mention.
