My personal opinion is that, if there is anyone in the world who is most qualified to run the saw for the first time and make sure it is legit...it's Randy.

On the other hand, you can also rest assured that if ships unfueled and untested and it isn't somehow right, Randy will make it right without blinking an eye.

If it were me I'd have Randy pull the rope to avoid the very small chance that I'd have to go an extra couple days without that saw if I had so ship it back to him if there were a problem. Others like that new saw smell. I'd leave it up to the buyer.

Up to the new owner is the best idea IMHO.

Very nice thread Randy! I hate the circumstances that it is under. Phil was a great guy and will be remembered by many!! :)

I to am curious where the raffle will be held. I need some tickets, for me and also some for Jeremy. If I win it, it's his. I really want to see him with this saw :dex:

Thanks again Randy. It takes a lot of time and work to put together a thread of this magnitude!

The fellow that is working on the raffle had a death in his family.

He said he will be working on setting it all up tomorrow though.

I liked it. Not the part about the death but the raffle.

    Condolences to his family...

Is it on AS, SH, or both?

If I win it, I'm gonna pound wedges with it...
Cause that's what Stihl's are for...
    ;)

OK... So it is sorta sexy...
    And stuff...
    For a Stihl...

Slick work as usual Randy... And fast!

I'll give you two 3# hammers of your choice....even trade. I'll even pay shipping both ways. Much better at pounding wedges....you'll thank me later.

I'd rather my saw be ran before it shipped out out. I'm pretty sure stihl runs saws as as part of part of their QA. It's probably ready to go, but why not be sure. If I win, run the hell out of it!

Yeah... But when I park my truck on a hillside, the 661 can be jammed behind the rear wheel and has the bulk to keep the truck from rolling away... It just rolls over the hammers...

    :rofl: :lol::D

You're right. The required size rock wouldn't fit in a flat rate box anyways. (What does? :loco: )

I hear you boyz don't know what rocks are out there. You actually can plow a field without breaking a plow shin/share? :hair: :headbang:
