Working out of state doing remodeling and staying over in the old house. Came down this morning and their pellet stove was going. Heat felt good. I was shocked to see the cat sleeping on the stove.
Rather fitting for Halloween season. IMG_3182.JPG IMG_3183.JPG

Out of the 5 cats that have lived in this house since I moved her, only 1 has ever gotten on the pellet stove. Spot never gets on the big stove downstairs, but will get on the P43 on the main floor. She will jump up there as soon as the exhaust fan shuts down - that is her cue that it is cool enough not to burn, but still toasty warm for quite a while after that.

Yes, Spot the cat. She is gray with lots of light beige spots all over her. She came with the name Spot, and I loved it so there was no reason to change it. I did change her sister's name from Runt to Rainey (solid gray)
