Why wouldn't that be an option? The snow tires or the "if it fits it ships" tires and rims in the barely closed hatch?
The snow tires are studded and always wiggle; So I learned the hard way what that does to headliners and interior fabrics when you cram them in.. perforates leather seats real quick 4 is generally ok, but 8 will ruin your interior quickly
Some great wood there Mike. My favorite! Great to see this thread revived. I really enjoy watching you determined hoarders get it done.
Our tires are mostly studded tires, which is why I don’t cram them in like Rgrant did in original post, I responded to. Tom asked me why not cram them in? My response was to why I don’t..
They tried here also .. but ice is ice and studs work So others know yes I have seen the videos of cars on frozen lakes where studs aren’t better I call BS unless you live in a flat state.. I seen state plow trucks chained and sanding slide backwards on ice.. sorry for digressing
My wife's tires are "studdable" and that's the reason I got them. Little did I know that putting studs in is a PITA and removing them is basically not something people do. I guess with anything it's possible but just not really something that's done- at least down here in SW CT. either way- with AWD and snow tires we've been pretty well unstoppable with her Honda. Canadian border VT digress away! its an aspect of this website I enjoy
If you would have seen how people drove with studded tires back then, you would understand why they were outlawed. 95% of the time, out of state license plates.....
'Tis the season. Lowes - $2/bag. Cheaper than bulk delivery. 20 bags If I don't get the chance to get another 20, before the sale ends, HD usually has their sale in a few weeks.
Whats the btu rating? Make sure its dry before you burn it Mike...don't need any creosote issues. Landlord has bought those for us here.
Small roadside scrounge for the van. Third time I've stopped at this place as they continue put more out. Sent from my QTAXIA1 using Tapatalk
A black birch blew down less than a mile from here. More can be found at - Wood I'd, please. Birch of some sort.
