I found a new ash hole today. I was down the street from my house and saw Asplundh working, so I did what any hoarder would do, and drove past my street and went hunting. 50 yards past my street I saw a small pile of ash logs on the corner. Grabbed the truck and picked up most of them. Should have cut them, my back is NOT happy with me for lumping them to the truck whole. But now my ash hole at home is much more backed up again. I went back for a second load, but no pics.
There's 6 Asplundh trucks parking at a golf course not too far from my house. They're out there, it's just finding where they are working! I may have stalked one while they were wrapping up lunch and then followed them. That only led to a line crew they were working with though lol
There's plenty more in Windham still. I need to knock on the door of a house that they laid down a huge ash as well as some more roadside stuff.
Roadside clearing score. Poor access to the spoils but I am picking away at it. Mainly birch. Driving around with my chainsaw in the trunk makes all the difference in the world.
Fulltang let me compliment you on how clean your car's door jambs look! Around here, a car that age would have some sort of rust speckled pattern on those jambs!
Hey! I should get 50% of that score! I didn't even look this morning. I had a full truck still from yesterday. I was just done when I got home and left it to split and stack today. Didn't know it was gonna rain though.
You guys in the salem/Methuen area, take a cruise along 97 coming from salem, NH. Tons of downed trees, just waiting to be hauled away. I come home from work that way a few times a week, and still can't believe the wood that still hasn't been touched. I would take it, but Haverhill got hammered, and the pickings have been so good my yard is full of rounds, plus I'm still working the huge maple score . All of you would benefit from a cheap trailer for scrounging
