Impressive load. Very nicely done! Did you pack it tight and keep saying "maybe one more piece"?

You can get away with that for a quarter mile! Making friends in the neighborhood, giving you wood?

Of course! I couldn't leave any behind!

Just setting on the side of the road. Only one other burner that I can see. Met a few people, couple others with tractors, some that work the same place I do.

very good point. Okay, how about:
"No round under 12" left behind" Could always post an asterisk* next to it and have some fine print for legal purposes?

I met another wood hoarder in the wild! This is Jerry, he's 70. IMG_20191110_16834.jpg
I stopped by the cemetery down the street from my grandson's house, to check out the wood dump in the back. I've never taken anything for there, mostly because it was all too big and I was afraid of getting in trouble. This time, Jerry was there, picking up small stuff. He said he's been doing it for years, and nobody cares, not even the police that drive by. He helped me load some apple limbs! I told him about FHC, he sounded interested. The beard, sunglasses and hoodie make him pretty unidentifiable. Or, they are his most identifiable features!

What's going on at the dump today, asked nobody? This! IMG_20191112_17339.jpg IMG_20191112_40782.jpg
They are shredding all the nasty decomposed stuff from the back of the brush pile. What's coming out looks like compost, half wood chips and half dirt.

Dont worry, there will be more wood!
Mine does that every now and then. Used to have big logs with brush and now the logs are kept separate. I havent been there in a couple months.

Was cutting the maple yesterday amongst all the EWP, saw this and thought of mrfancyplants. Major sap ooze from the end. One pile of smaller maple logs was on top of some of the pine. Managed to get "sapped" with pine tar! IMG_1312.JPG
