Put some light olive oil or coconut oil on for 15 min. Wash it off then use a hair conditioner.

I am letting mine grow longer, seeing how I like it. I've always kept it short.

Had mine trimmed last week. I was looking like Santa. Being Fat, I don't need the ho ho ho comments and I'm not putting on a Santa suit.! :wacky:. This is my first experience with a beard. It grew out just fine. Only thing I didn't like was the hair getting in my mouth while I eat, also, I don't have much feeling on my lips because a nerve damage when I had a wisdom tooth extraction many years ago. So I'm not aware when I have food on my lips or in my beard.

Just let it go it will stop itching soon enough and a little oil and using conditioner like Larry said will help a lot. I have had mine trimmed once since August 2013 and that was just at the sideburns to clean it up a little where it meets my hair.

Beginning of October for me. Just applied the wax. I really like Murray's pomade for the beard itself-- but I mix that 50/50 with vaseline to make it more workable.

I usually keep it trimmed pretty tight, but I've been growing it out this month for "no shave November".
