Homeowner Saturday was in full effect today. Sold, closed, and delivered 2 mowers today. Sold a third one, but their financing didn't go thru. Rather than ruin their weekend with that info, I elected to hold off calling them until Monday. Salespeople do have hearts believe it or not. Pretty sure I sold a fourth one today also, but it was his first time looking. Tweaked his brain when I showed him a fuel injected red tech equipped 60" lazer x series with 800 hrs for 5900 ( half price of new) and a brand new gravely zt hd with warranty for the same money! My money says he goes lazer. He'll be back though. Could see it in his face. Service wise today....nothing exciting. Typical homeowner Saturday. We charged a guy 75$ for a old azz homelite air filter that was nos and nla on ebay. I cringed ringing him up, but he seemed happy that we found him one. Saw fired right up, had the old saw sound that makes boners on old men, and made the old Korean war vet happy. I loaded it into his 81 corvette and thanked him for his service. I love my job. First time ever work doesn't feel like work.
Quoted just cuz I know you are right and it makes me smile to see it in print. Confirms my gut feelings. It All feels right for the first time in forever. For. Freaking. Ever.
Lmao nope! Though, to be honest, I'm in business to business sales, and deal with the same handful of people all the time, so it becomes more friendship based.
