No pictures of anything but I got 14.5 cords out this weekend around my kids baseball and field hockey games. Have sold 130 cords so far this season. When you look at my piles from the road, it doesn’t look like I’ve sold much at all.

You should take the wood truck filled to the kids games and advertise wood sales.

130 cords is 3-4 years of sales for me. Always impressive number Joe.

Gotta love empty space. Means room for more wood!

I wonder how many yards of splitter trash/sawdust you generate in a years time.

Quite a bit but it keeps the wood on the bottom clean and dry.

Things slowed down for a weekend but they picked back up this past one. Got 12 cords out. Have recently passed the 175 mark. Here’s a picture of a pile of oak for next year. It’s about 65 feet long.

I've been pretty busy with deliveries but it seems now its mostly just the recreational burners who mostly get half cords. It's an easy and quick load and I can deliver in my pickup which gets much better mileage and is way more comfortable plus it pays more when you add 2 half cords together. Because I've had so many of them, my average price per cord is up about $15 a cord which doesn't sound like much but when you move volume, it adds up. Making a strong push towards Christmas but unfortunately I have those people who reach out at noon on a Sunday hoping to get it that afternoon. Most will wait till the following weekend but others won't. I don't lose sleep over that.

I have had my busiest December I can ever remember. Have delivered 35 cords in the last 3 weeks. Just when I get caught up on my delivery list, I have more people reach out. Some of them are regulars who waited way too long this year, some wanting a second order already this year and a bunch of neighbors of customers who’ve seen what I drop off. When I called it a day (early afternoon) 12/26 I had no orders for the the 27th but ended up dropping off a total of 6 cords that day. Took orders for 2.5 cords for tomorrow while I watched my Eagles destroy the Cowgirls this afternoon. No wood related pics but there’s this…

So Joe, any running counts yet for 2024? How's the inventory looking for starting 2025? Always enjoy watching your adventures.

Wednesday morning I had 4 deliveries planned for this weekend. The talk of snow and polar vortex turned that into 19 as of Friday night. I hate how people wait so long but it’s going to be a busy busy weekend!

Do you have more than 1 truck running deliveries? 4 is the most I’ve done in one day and I don’t like it. 7 in one morning is amazing.

Yeah no kidding. I think my record is 3 or 4. I've had one every day so far this year(except for my PT bucking gig new years day) with 3-4 this week.

Benjamins are rolling in! :makeitrain" :rootintootin:

Yes I’ve been doing half cords in my pickup and full cords in my dump truck. Almost all deliveries are under 10 miles and on many deliveries, I don’t encounter any traffic lights. I have a guy loading one while I’m out in the other.
