ooooh! :bug: More Goldilocks wood. Have you been praying to the wood gods Joe? Sacrifice a virgin or something?

Very nice Joe. Youve hit the Goldilocks wood jackpot lately. Just as long as there's no bear wood!
    Whatever that is?

Yes I have ironically though, I want some of the 16"-24" or so diameter wood because that is what I like for the tw6 as I have 2 people run that splitter. What will happen is once I get all of this split, he will drop off nothing but big stuff which is not ideal for the I&O splitter that doesn't have a log lift. I'm biting my tongue with my tree guy at the moment.

Relieved to see your processing area is filling back up. We’ve been worried about you!

Got most of the logs cut. No work tomorrow but will finish them up Wednesday. Current picture of the oak pile we are working on. It’s about 70’ long. Put in 7 hours today and it was a warm one.

Finally got it loaded and delivered today. Here’s what’s left after loading a cord. Awfully close to a half cord so those logs really grew once cut and split

I cut as much as I could the last week or so because tomorrow I leave for Iceland and will be there for 9 days. I have plenty of rounds worked up for my college kids to split while I’m gone. Before I left today, I climbed up onto the pile furthest back and took this picture of all the piles. Definitely setting another record this year.

Short cutoffs. I have 275 and 330 gallon ones. They are around 1/3 a cord.

First day back for me after spending 9 days in Iceland. Had a few more loads of logs dropped off. Looks like the cherry is all split now. I’ve never had this much before. Pile is 50 feet long. Warm and humid though….oh well, it sure beats the 40 degrees wind blown rain I experienced last week.
