Just about lol. Some needs re split for smaller stove sizes, but that's way easier than making it from rounds.
Yesterday after work I cut the last of the Goldilocks oak I currently have. I still have about 25-30 cords of bigger wood but will need to get a lot more logs in here soon.
Took the first few days of spring break and got in one last ski trip to Killington Vermont. Last few days have been hitting the wood pile. Found some large cherry logs tucked away in my log piles. I hardly ever get cherry this big that isn’t full of rot in the middle. And I started working on my big oak logs. Had some in the 36” diameter range. Those who read my posts know how much I dislike this big stuff. And I got my random log pile cleaned up.
Outstanding! Man, I’ve been away from my northern hometown for so long I can’t even imagine skiing in April. That big cherry is the cat’s azz!
Glad you got a few days of R&R with family. The woodyard is looking great. That was some nice cherry...
A big no thanks…to oak that is almost 4 feet across and weather that feels like mid summer in April. But, the show must go on.
Yep, way too hot way to early. Where's my 30's and 50's? That's a good sized Oak to wrestle around for sure. Noodle festival = time= money.
