I put an sos out to my main tree guy today saying I would be out of logs to cut tomorrow. This is all I have left. Let’s hope he comes through.
Also pictured is a two cord load of locust going to a guy who’s been buying off me for a number of years now.

IMO, IPAs taste better when splitting and stacking.

Am only left with rounds that range from 20”-30” in diameter. Obviously, too heavy to easily lift or lift at all. So this morning we used the tw6 to break bigger rounds down into more manageable chunks so they are now easy to lift and finish splitting. 2 of my kids had their last day of work today as they are headed back to college. 1 kid will remain for a few more days this week.
Also moved another tote of junk wood to my house. 1 more and I will be fully stocked for when I fire the wood boiler u come October.

I first cut all of the small diameter logs for my small splitter but once those were done I cut the bigger stuff. I staged the tw6 close to the iron and oak. I cut the big rounds today. Will use the big splitter to break down pieces for the small splitter. A little more time consuming but it’s my only option as my help leaves me .
