I thought that was what it was for. Seen a few times with our bagger on, the Bad Boy did a wheelie

my splitter is like with oil draining all over the mount, so I bought a drainzit and problem solved.
Is it a big deal to not have a drain plug? no just more of a pain. Just need to make sure gas doesn't flood out the carb or spill out of the cheap gas cap that has 2 threads holding it on..
Cutting season came way to soon for me this year. I'm over cutting the yard(s)

Drain plugs on small mowers are more aggravation than they are worth. Vacuum solutions for changing the oil are cheap, faster, and no mess. Especially if you can use the same tool on 2,3 or more engines. Nothing wrong with tipping mowers on their side to drain. Most engines built in the last 30 years do just fine with that. When tipping a mower, the air filter side always goes up.

Time of year to get the stove ready for next year.

    Chimney sweep comes tomorrow morning.

I'll inspect the gaskets and give the cat a cleaning. I'll take a wire brush to the inside of the top, as well as all doors.

I Generally do mine when it cools off in October. One other reason also is the sun bakes any creosote on the cap piece all summer and it gets brittle, it bangs out and wire brushes off easier for me. Anything that comes out of the pipe is real dry, not any sticky stuff at all.
I did the same when I had the terra-cotta flue, cleaned up quick.

Flue and stove cleaned and put back together.

I took the top and doors outside for a good scraping with a wire brush. I left to top off to let the cat dry overnight, after a bath in vinegar and water, 50/50.

All put back together this morning. Pretty wood placed inside after glass cleaning. And, an interesting piece of red oak on top.
