    Those are snow bikes. Tons of fun not much flotation.

    Because of their low weight, the snow bikes are actually better at floatation on snow than all but the most extreme mountain sleds.

    This guy just found a very soft spot. Maybe there was a creek under that section, and it just sucked him in? I tried to find the original full length clip to see the machine to determine what exactly he was riding.

    Bet you are correct. I've had the displeasure of ending up in a creek in Wyoming years ago that was snow bridged. Not quite as impressive as the vid but entertaining for the rest of the group! Until they had to help get me out. Over 6 foot straight down I was:eek: And standing in running water! Brrrr. I should dig out the pics.

    I know the sound it’s a 450 4 stroke, the ones up here don’t float well with our dry snow. I rode a modified bike with a 11-12 ski and a 131 or 137 track it was much better for our conditions.

    I just came back from the Northern U.P. of MI, excellent conditions. I was mostly visiting but we did one remote ride, logging roads looking for moose activity. A relative looks for the dropped antlers.
