    Thanks for the tip Urban Woods , the block is 10x14” btw, I just went out and measured...Cutting them is something I’ve never attempted but for the next rack prob contact my welder buddy

    I've used the blocks the "wrong way" or the least structurally sound way and it seems like the blocks I've got that are old as the hills are fine, it's just the new ones made to minimum allowable standard (aka cheapchit) that will crack.

    Your set up is why I went to blocks under my stacks. :handshake: I don't have the rail road tracks, but I have the treated timbers. I buy them at the end of the year when they are on sale!
