    Everybody needs a splitter. Glad to see you finally got one. The reason it slowed down on some of it is your wedge design. It is a very wide angle. The slim wedges do much better. A thinner wedge can get into the wood easier and has more leverage compared to a big wide wedge that flares way out. I’d bet you could find a narrow wedge to fit on there.
