Started the wood pellet stove on Tuesday night, Nov. 7th, for the first fire of the season. Kind of fun
    burning wood pellets.

Crazy weather with the swings from hot to cold, cold to hot, humid, dry do not recall weather like this prior but heck as I get older seem to be recalling less and less. Living in an old house that has a damp basement in the spring and summer I do not hesitate fire up the stove to dry out and take the chill out of the house so I have probably burned more than anyone this year but do not keep count as its not important and just takes more space in me noggin that has to much already bouncing around. Could just turn the thermostat on the oil burner but refuse to its just not the same and prefer to give my hard earned cash to either Americans or our neighbors up north Eh. Grabbed 9 ton of Northern's / Ambiance last spring at great prices so if it gets damp and chilly i fire up the stove I don't care what the calendar says like to be comfortable and as I get older seems I tolerate the cold less and less.
Like Cork says I despise the heat as well and one of the reasons I left Florida where I grew up as a kid dang heat and humidity just brutal down there, but love the dry heat coming off the stove warming my old bones !
