Yeah, officially I only pay about $0.10/kwh. But the bill is doubled by all the fees, so it is really just below $0.20/kwh. And amazingly, during winter, when I use the most electricity, my bill still doubles from fees - it seems as if none of the fees are a set rate but a percentage of the bill.

Those fees goes to the local monopolies providing the delivery. The actual generators get a fraction of that $0.10/kwh.

Here is a screenshot of my fee schedule per their website. Looks like I'm at about 8 cents not counting the pca and monthly flat-fee if I'm reading this right...notice on-peak energy charge!

Duh, just looked at my bill again and all fees are multiplied by the kwh used (even the stranded cost recovery charge), so they will always be a bit over 50% of my bill.

95% efficient, $1.53 It won't stay there I know. Something will bust open and send the prices through the roof overnight. You can be sure the Wall Street Snakes are in the smoke filled back rooms manufacturing a crises. (plants down for repair/maintenance, more middle east saber rattling, cost of doing business is up, but mostly, greed).

Burned a little propane last weekend, but haven't had to fire up the pellet eater yet. Unseasonably warm here. It was in the high 70's multiple days last week. 42 degrees outside this morning, but it was still 71 in the house. Lots of sun and more mild temps in the forecast too. Might not start much burning for a few weeks yet.

Seems Thermo Pride has only furnaces...no oil boilers for baseboard heating

Nope, I have PSNH - I mean Eversource. I could have sworn most of the companies were going down (not nearly as much as I would like, but down is down). Supposedly we'll save about $6/month.
