Tentative......

Just got word from the MAN today- (yes, he deserves all caps.)- Aug. 2nd may be the date.
Anyone have plans to be in Colorado around then? If so......
Open to the public machine gun shoot. Pretty much anything you'd want Class 3 and more.
Machine guns, flame throwers, explosives, etc....and 1 of only 2 working 76mm. anti tank guns in the US.
He'll let me know as to a firm date in a few weeks when the permitting is done. I'll post the final date then.
Should be fun. Awww crap... he has a full auto, 8" barreled 12 gauge shotgun, of course it'll be fun!!

Just north of Silverthorne. New location, never been used for this sort of event.

Since I lived in Steamboat when I lived in Colorado; I drove 9 between Kremmling and Silverthorne a fair amount. Pretty country through there.

He dropped by with the flyers today, we made some changes. Looks like this is a go, and another in Gunnison on the 17th. This in support of a Pro- 2nd person running for state rep. All proceeds go towards her campaign. I met her a few weeks ago, chatted for a while, great Lady.
Oh yeah, we'll also be shooting drones and large RC aircraft. No kidding.

 

How much and do u get to shoot?

 

Depends on what you want to shoot, and how much. The Glock 18's would cost a lot less than the M2's or Mini's. All depends on ammo.

 

Ok, - Aug. 2nd is good for Silverthorne. Aug. 17th is good for Gunnison.(local Sheriffs Dept. is helping with that one). All are welcome!

Sorry to say the event has been cancelled. Hope nobody was actually gonna drive all the way out here.

Clemsonfor, you are kidding, right? We're already stressed about the people that will show up, just to be turned away. Heck, the MAN had calls from Virginia about this thing. No one is happy about this.

 

No not recently. Its been weeks at least sincethe last mention of it. But they mention oout when talking second amend and polititions stance on it.
