I can play in snow! am I only one that puts food coloring in spray bottles so snowman arent just white? build forts and luge for kids to come play on... hey we even put spotlights on front hill and had a kids (me too) midnite sledding party.. with bon fire hot cocoa and music.. must had 2 dozen under 15 here for new years eve.. couple years back... I think this weekend is our annual red neck slid and slide party.. 150 foot 8 mil plastic and a capped hose I driĺled holes in .? dollar store big bottles of dish soap... it's fun
Redneck stuff like that is how I grew up, its also why in my early 30s most of my joints are demolished. It's good to see you do stuff like that for kids, too many lawsuits now in days for most to even consider it. I wish I had a neighbor like you growing up.
my joints are gone too... but I figure when I get thru using this body.. I don't want it to be worth much.. lawyer wrote up a at your own risk policy everyone signs.. also got business and million insurance policy.. we have had a few broken bones and stitches.. but I figure good lord will keep me protected til I get everything to a trust til then ....... sue me you get the debts too kids need to have fun and raise some Cain otherwise they will get more destructive! adult boys pastime 2 weekend ago.... shooting range out back... buddy kid worKS at bowling alley got truckload of used pins... bowling with AR 15.. cops showed up.. I guess 1500 rounds got some one concerned.. most of my neighbors were with me.. he was like oh your just playing... looks like fun... apparently state trooper not allowed to shoot civilian guns but I think he wanted too..
That's just it, keep em busy enough and let or help them get into the "good" ? Trouble. Only times cop show up at the "range" is when larger containers of tannerite go boom.
personal range behind my house... my wife says I am biggest kid of all... I go to school functions for my daughter and all kids are like when are we gonna do x again. .. I say you come help set it up ... they do so it's games on...
Scotty Overkill and Eric VW, sorry to hear about your loss. It is sad when grandparents go. Sadder yet when parents go. Sadly, neither my wife nor I have any parents still alive. I guess we're now the older generation...
Ah come on Sav......just a young pup yet........the good part is we just keep getting closer to the real celebration and I can't even wrap my head around what that's going to be like.
So Sorry for both of your losses. Prayers to you and the families these men inspired. Hold their memories and teaching near your heart and they will never be away.
let me know when you and Judy are close. throw a big one.. and bring you in as guests of honor.. as soon as we get snow.. dad's cousin has horse drawn sleigh .. think of that as a old time photo for ya... or in fall a Surry ride through foliage or... I will come up with something!
It is the natural order of life. I am so grateful the Lord has allowed me to witness it. There were certainly times when I could have slipped away from war, accidents and illness.
