If no one’s ever told you, make the stump cut last, especially if you only have one saw. High likelihood it will dull your saw. I was hoping to not have to sharpen another saw today.
Let's see if I understand correctly. People living in the eastern part of the country don't burn pine cause it will burn their house down and people living in the western part of the country don't burn oak cause it burns too hotGot it
Belongs to my employer and I’m not a fan of the safety switch design. It makes it pretty close to impossible to cut with your left hand. The new 220t eliminates the dumb button.
Yeah I wish Right now I need some 20 ft white for a lowboy deck I called my log hauler and he just laughed
Thanks for the offer long drive !! if you were closer I would consider I have been sawing ash for barn siding been real busy JB
I sure love to burn pine. I love the oak too, I'll take all I can get. Not sure what they're worried about. They all burn Douglas fir, which is a member of the PINE family! Jokes on them!
My understanding on either side Green Wood burns houses down, and on the west coast, dry cottonwood that's bad for flying embers burns houses down that have cedar shingle or shake roofs! Have a good day !!!
Lots of built in kinlin, but %100 easier than Hickory. Hickory heartwood on bigger rounds is as hateful as Elm imo. I’m pretty close to banning any hickory over 16”. Hickory stacks collapse too. Recently had bark falling off Hickory that still put up a fight. I had to break out the hatchet. No bueno I’ve split bigger White Oak that had strings I had to chop. They separate easier when rounds are fresh.
Finally got to a Poplar. It’s got to be pushing 100’ and 32” dbh. The heavy tree size back limb wore on my nerve, but with wedge and rope persuasion it went south. Z best saw of course Used up all my margin for error Whoever cleans it up can have the logs.
Nice job sir. Wish i was closer. Id take tulip in a heatbeat. I need some fast drying stuff. You wont burn that yourself?
