They haven't been making Jonsered for a while. I doubt you're going to see any @ TSC.

You are correct. So would you folks recommend the ones they do sell?

My wife said she would buy me one for Christmas. But, her budget is my budget. I don’t want to go out and buy a $1200 professional saw. :sherlock:

Personally I would not. My first new saw purchase was a 450 runcher. After a couple months I knew I bought the wrong saw. Sold it and got an XP. My dad has a lil 435 that is pretty decent and a friend has a 445 he really likes. So for the pictures you posted, skip the 450 and go right to more cc with the 455. I really don't like one bar nut on a saw. BUT, for my money, I'd buy into a pro-grade used saw before I did that.
This is an absolute steal. I paid just under $700 brandy new. Husqvarna 357XP Chainsaw - tools - by owner - sale

The Wood Wolverine is handing out good advice. That's a pro saw that looks to be in great shape for the price of a throwaway big box saw.

I started with a 445, and I would not buy another one, or anything like it. The couple hundred to upgrade to a 562xp ($750-775) has seemed like really well spent money to me this year.

That pro saw is nice. In Pennsylvania. I’m in upstate New York. But I understand it was meant as an example of a good used pro saw. I’ll think on buying a slightly used pro saw. Not in a rush. Christmas is a long ways off yet. :DI still have some shopping to do!

Gas, I'm in agreement with these guys, spend a bit more & get the pro grade saw, new or used. You will not regret it, even if it's orange.
    Right Jason?:p

Hmmm. Probably a silly question. Would it be really expensive to ship a saw JB Sawman ? If I bought one from you?

Heck, my 562XP was only $550. That's a lot of pro saw for fair money.

I didn’t think you could buy one of those for that money. When was that purchase? Did it include bar and chain?

Oh I’m hoping for at least 55cc, but 60-70 would be better. Right?:D

This has been discussed to death in the saw threads, but a 65cc saw is pretty much the agreed upon one saw plan. Saws aren't terrible expensive to ship. Someday I'll buy a saw from JB just to spite The Wood Wolverine. Gotta have an orange stepchild to make fun of.:p

About 2.5 years ago and yes, with 20" bar and chain. Certain high volume dealers get on a program where they get a kickback for volume and pass the savings on to the customer.

Get the right one and it'll win ya over. If you ever get a chance, run an extra sausage 365sp/372. One viscous sum beech! Definitely a one saw plan.

Ported 372 is on the want list. A friend of mine has one & it's a really nice saw to run. 365 XP has my eye as well. I find I don't hardly run the stock saws anymore except the 660 & 064. They both pull long bars really well, but they're both pretty fresh too.

Sorry I have been busy and missed your posts I would have to check on shipping costs but I am sure I could work with you on that saw prices took a big jump but it depends on the dealer :whistle:what they cost a 562xp lists for 769.00 now 372 list for 989.00 but as always the FHC discount works here :D pm me if or when you are interested . In my opinion you are making a big investment for a saw always buy the commercial saws they just hold up way better and the farm and ranch saws are good but they are not made for long term usage JB

Didn’t buy a saw yet. We have had a couple things happen that cost us some unexpected dough. The saw will have to wait. Thanks.
