Very cool Scotty. Thanks for posting all of this. I have considered buying a portable saw mill of some kind. Maybe even one that is stationary and I could use a good chainsaw on. But I don't think I want to get into just yet. Don't have the time. So I am thinking maybe I'll go talk to a couple Amish saw mills close to the house and see if they might be interested in buying logs from me. While thinning the woods it would be good to sell some logs and recoup some money for the investment.
I see you said that there is a local co. that has the repair capability. If your not aware of this co. B H. Pane, might want to check them out also maybe float some pics to them and see what they have to say. Extra cost is the shipping both ways. Might give some reference vs your local co. excluding the shipping of course.
