Seems not to be any interest in this, so back on the shelf it goes. Won't be buying any more of these.

Well, Dex, so do I but that seems not to be. I suppose one day I will come across a use for it. Perhaps on a total rebuild for someone.

TL really had a good idea with these, a very cost effective way to get a ported saw without the wait and only a portion of the expense. Also, a guy with a saw and a few tools can complete it himself and enjoy the benefits of a ported saw. Plus you end up with your original C/P and muffler that you could keep or sell to defray the cost. He did them at that time with a pop-up, don't know if he still does the pop-ups or not. I know Randy has stopped doing them in favor of cutting the jug, that way if you scorch a piston you just go out get a new one and your ported saw is back!

TL did the cylinder, pop-up piston and muffler as a stand alone unit that could be bolted right on with no mods to the saw necessary. About 30 minutes work that anyone can do.

I will keep you in mind Tim if I get an appropriate powerhead to bolt that thing onto.

I think of Dex like a brother. We can pick at each other..at times mad/ frustrated, yet still be friends after it all.

Sometimes I can't read it. If I click out of the text box I can't pull the words down to see everything. I have to post it then go edit it. Its like I can't get back into it for some reason. If you ever see a half written post that later is finished its cause I can't get back to the bottom of the reply box so I post it and go back and edit to finish it out. I dont know why it does that..and sometimes I dont have signal or forget to look it over. Many times I am pulled over in my truck or between conversations with folks etc.

I try more...trust me I am trying. Not perfect though.
