    I didn't know about these until this thread. I was intrigued and worked my Google-fu. Made one for the Christmas party at work today. It was a big hit so a few guys made done more at the party. We used dead pine that'd been down but off the ground for a few years. I'll be making more. We managed maybe 1.5-3 hour burns.

    I like them, but I find split firewood in an outdoor burn pit more appealing...neighbor uses these and gets them at the big box home improvement stores. I'll probably make him a couple just to see the happy look on his face.
