Warm temp I saw was in Thomaston where it got to 35*F and things started melting. When I got home it was colder up north, Don't think we got over 30*F

Had -3 this AM. -14 the other(think it was Monday?) morning! So anything that is close to above freezing has felt much warmer to me!

I was covered from head to toe again today while I was cutting logs. It was fine, but when the wind picked up it was time to get in the truck for a few minutes. Luckily I was cutting about 30-50 yards from the truck.

-14 here this morning. Even with DFs in the stove, it's cold in the house. Just turned up the oil heat to augment.

This is the coldest temp we have seen since living in this house. Next runner up was -12 a few years back. It's tough taking the dogs out to do their business in these temps. The ground is so cold it hurts their feet/pads so they keep alternating lifting them up off the ground, all the while looking at us like "Seriously?" We sometimes have to take them out a couple times before they realize this is no time to be wandering around looking for the perfect spot, and they just need to go quickly!
