Sunrise thread

Lobster boats luffing on their moorings at sunrise...

 

Hmmm.. sunrise, don't usually see them myself.

Meh.. just a sunset too early in the day.

 

Sunrise in the Mount Washington Valley. Taken from the middle of the road near the summit of Hurricane Mountain in NH. Looking east towards Maine at the base.

Here's one from work the other day...I call it, "sunrise over the ole turd laundry" inspirational, right!?.
And here's a couple sunset pics from last weekend too...

 

Here are a couple of sunrise pics taken in early Sept when we were on vacation in upper Michigan.

 

I saw a nice one this morning as a rain shower passed through.



I turned around to go inside and saw this surprise. My phone could not capture both arcs completely.

 

Here are a couple looking out over Lake Huron. One from back in mid October, another from last week during the cold snap. Both facing roughly the same direction. The one from last week was admittedly a bit past sunrise. No way I was going outside at -18. I waited until it warmed up to -5.

Now that's some big sky country.

Nice when the clouds cooperate like that

nice to have film or a sensor that can capture it well, too.
