    All this rain we are now getting is saturating the ground. A recipe for trees to come down during our wind event later.

    You too, we'll see what happens. It rained yesterday evening, last night and this morning and the temps dropped a bit. We had some wind earlier and for now all is calm.

    It's been a strange day up hear, earlier when I was in the woods the cold front started moving in with some rain and wind but this afternoon the sun came out and its been spitting snow every so often.

    If we get the winds it will be later tonight or tomorrow, they took off the Hazardous Weather Outlook a couple of hours ago for this area.

    Same thing here to a T!

    I loaded the stove since it was getting cool in here. No winds yet, but the warning is still up and they expect things to get choppy AFTER midnight now, through the afternoon tomorrow. If your temps are expected to rapidly decrease over the next 12 hours, I think you'll get the winds. Keeping the 60mph winds in the warning still has us on edge. Be safe!

    The winds woke me up around 12:30a.m. We lost power only for a short bit and its still howling out. Expected to subside this afternoon.

    I saw on the news that Hershey had a 63mph gust this morning. :jaw:

    We had a pine tree come down on the chicken coop around 8:30 this morning. Snapped right off at the base, but that's for another thread.

    Not sure the highest winds, def 50 gusts and around 30 sustained. Chit coming down all over, mainly branches, power went out twice but was suprisingly restored rather quickly. Been feeding the stove, 30° out with a windchill in the low 20s
