You paid less than $800. Lowe's 10% discount through 17

I agree, the door should have worked properly, and it is regretful that you had the other problems.

Hope you get to burn it some and can give us a short term report. Don’t forget to give a long term report after a couple seasons on that stove. Good luck with it. They are a nice looking stove and I’m sure the fireview will be awesome.

Im so happy for you, its gonna be great. I want a backup too. I have an extra flu behind the bbq innthe kitchen but it just has the clay so i would need a liner. I dont think a liner is necessary if i got a pellet as backup. Is that true

I don’t know anything about pellet stoves. The one thing that would keep me from using one for backup is the need for electricity to make it work.

I'd look at that glass retention first thing. And happy burning! It looks like a great deal on a decent heater.

    No, no, no, no! :picard:

That's just for those snowflakes out there that need baby gloves from living in a make believe world they created! The same world where they feel entitled and need participation trophies. Or a good dose of reality!

Take the bricks out of that thing take some pictures, put her together taking some pictures. Show us how she’s built. Find out how the controls work and show us the finer details of where the air comes in at and where it goes.

I sure do hope she serves you well. That would be great!

I forgot where you said you was getting it and how much. The ash pan on those are huge if I recall. You will like that deep pan.

The stove was purchased at Lowe’s, for 539$

I won’t be taking the bricks out but I plan to put a straight edge on the body and take a few pics Incase there are issues down the road.

Actually, you'll probably have to put the bricks in place. They're likely to be boxed up so they don't rattle around and chip and crack. Many stoves arrive this way. If you wanted you could look around inside then and take pics. It just helps people here and elsewhere searching the net to see exactly what's going on. Up to you.

Nope, bricks are all in place. The video billb3 shows the inside of the stove pretty well.

Interesting. Most of the TSC stove brands and those at Menards...Drolet, Wood Pro, etc., all have their bricks packed in a small box and placed in the firebox.
They must be in there and really secure. That’s good.
