Some of you may know but informing the ones that don’t, I’m in the process of trying to sell the house this Summer along with my lady and her house. Since then, we have been cleaning a LOT up. This includes her house and mine but mine has been neglected of pictures here. Here goes. I thought I'd just show the pictures last year before the winter showed up, just to give you a reference, having not actually taken pictures in the winter and likely twice as much wood graced the yard.
Here is now: Much more reduction but I’ve been firm on keeping the white birch, black locust and oak that have been seasoning since last year. This Summer is really likely to be a warm one so a little bit of rearrangement in wood when the sale happens and things ought to be good to burn this year. Pending a woodshed at the next house...
This is all that wood I had jumped on like 3-4 months ago. Stacked up on the West side of the house to keep it neat and tidy as possible. I wouldn’t know where to put it all at this point. Dealing with house improvements, I have my hands full.
It’s a lot but we got good helpers for sure and hopefully the wood could be the first things to move. Get it out of the way. Same I’m hoping to have a really good discussion about a new stove if necessary!! Oh she knows. Hell I bought her the Wood Wife shirt for a reason.
Well some are a dime a dozen, others...a black card doesn’t have a prayer. Well... mine is working hard on a fire right now. So I’ll let you pick my answer.
Thanks bud, we’re reaching our limits on our houses. They are cozy too cozy I say, same with her. Wanna give her boys some breathing room as her Elder son has reached high school level. Her youngest will be in 5th grade. I will say this: I’m more than ready to extend my family. Gives me pride knowing how hard my ladys’ boys work as well as she does and notices. A bit of training them went a long way...
