I havent posted in this section in awhile, since i rounded up the cabin project. Wanted to share some pictures of some stuff i have made this year with wood off the mill. I am not a carpenter at all, so everything i make is mostly functional and try to hide all my bad carpentry by using really nice wood lol.

A bunk bed for my daughter out of maple. Some of it was spalted, but not intentionally just didnt get to the project in time lol.

Some shelving for the cabin made from poplar. Used a kreig jig to put it together.

Some stairs for the cabin to the loft area out of hickory. We used boiled linseed oil on these. You can see the shelving from the previous pic in the background.

Here is a good picture of the downstairs floor in the cabin. We did half at a time. Made it out of red oak and polied it. I think this was done last year but i figured i would still share the pic.

Looks like you are a pretty good woodworker to me I do not even see the chainsaw marks on the miter cuts:thumbs: my skills are considered" rough carpentry" so your work looks excellent

It all looks good to me. Like you I enjoy making things but I am by no means a carpenter. It is just fun. Keep up the good work.
