Fixes: cleaned cylinders on both, drilled out cracks in plastic, jb welded cylinder cover on 660, lots of block sanding on 064 case halves, sanding around 064 flywheel seal recess (064s seat in 2mm or so, so the seal still works)
AM Parts: seals on both, Meteor piston in both, brake handle on 660, handle on 064, clutch cover on 660, bearings in 064, case gasket on 064, cylinder gasket on 660, rubber AV on both, fuel/impulse line on 064
OEM Parts: 064 flywheel seal (buggered my AM at first), bearings in the 660, cylinder gasket on 064, case gasket on 660, entire ignition system from bplust, fuel/impulse line on 660.

So what to take away from this? 1122 ignition systems aren't easy haha. Always check for bearing play in these bigger saws when buying used (not a huge issue, but you want to know exactly what you're buying).
Some cases may not be worth bringing back to life. This 064 is no shelf queen and will be used primarily for ripping and noodling some of my nastier tree service drop offs. It already has a junk clutch cover so I cut out a big chip release so it can pass noodles fairly easy (not OSHA approved haha).
These will also be a test of AM bearings/seals/fuel lines, etc in this series. If something fails, I'll give you all a report.

Nice thread! Anytime you can end up with 2 saws instead of one, is a great deal! (Well, sometimes more headache searching for parts! But a good deal!!)

Got some run time on both saws today. Here's some observations:
Obvious since the 660 is only 2 years old, but the AV is a lot better with the newer rubber mounts and no "made to fit" components. The 660 is pretty smooth.
The 064 absolutely rips. It's buzzy, but it's still breaking in and has a couple shadetree fixes for AV/handle stuff. Here's that broken clutch cover I mentioned:

Not the safest and pretty ugly, but I'll be using this saw primarily to noodle nasty rounds from my tree service drop-offs. It's running an 3/8 x 8pin rim on a 20" bar as of right now... mainly because that's what I had on hand. So far I know I need to tap a muffler bolt hole for M6 since it's stripped out. I'm just happy this saw is alive (for now).

The AM clutch covers are dirt cheap, and look to be exact copies of OEM, minus the STIHL logo.

Yeah they are... seems to be good to go so far on my 660. I have one waiting for this saw from Huztl. I noodled a truckload of spruce and walnut yesterday with this broken one and didn't have any clogging issues. I may keep it on there for a while.
