Stove top fans?

    Stove Top is alright, but homemade is always better:stirpot:

    Our stove is in our basement too, Jet... Only thing we did to assist the natural convection was drop a duct down from the floor at the front door, to about 8" off the basement slab. This allows the cold air blanket which sometimes shows up at the kitchen stairs(to the basement) to become of null effect. I posted this set up of ours back in late winter/ spring, but that was some time ago, and I'm too Percocet'd up to find it.....

    I set up a floor fan pointing down the stairs where my stove is and it's working well. Thumbs up

    Never thought to do that. I've run one from across the room towards it.

    It works as does setting a fan even at the far end of a hallway to warm the back rooms.
