Still have room to improve but I’m getting better lol

 

Nice load

 

It took some effort to fit all this fir in there.

 

I dunno, I see a lot of air gaps! Lol

 

It's not packed tight but it was a good overnight load , it's what I had in the house

 

That's a good pack right there

 

Hopefully she makes at least 7-8 hours of heat.

Ash and Oak

 

Lousy picture but phone was full and did not feel like making room. Pretty much down for the past week with pneumonia, yesterday was the first time I loaded the stove in a while.(thanks wifey).

 

Praying for your recovery. That is some nasty stuff. Get well soon.

 

My wife has pneumonia now as well. Definitely nothing fun. Glad.to hear you're feeling better.

 

Can't like someone sick... praying for Miz Walsh's healing and recovery.

 

Didn't want to cheat to much...lol...put in a few short white oak boards....don't want to bake in here.

 

That reminds me, I have a bunch of oak shipping cradles I need to break up, cut to length, and get into the house. You can really pack the crap out of the stove with dimensional hardwood!

 

Sure can pack one, we've got a big stack of crate boards to cut up too.

 

Got a pretty full load in the stove tonight. Had to leave a little room for air movement...gonna be chilly down here the next few nights....
