Save can you give me more explanation on your fan setup? I understand that no 2 houses are the same. I have a large ceiling fan in my "great room". Its an open concept downstairs. Ceilings in that room about20-25 feet tall. I use the fan to pull down warm air and distribute it to the kitchen, sitting area. I then have 2 French doors which lead to the hallway and foyer (open concept about 25 feet or so up) cannot get any real warmth up there. We sleep downstairs, kiddo sleeps up. The fan you use to push towards the stove does what? What direction does your ceiling fan turn? Just trying to optimize my heat. Had the stove for 9 seasons now and never experimented much!

Conventional wisdom is that blowing cooler air toward the stove is best. Also, ceiling fans should be on reverse......air gets pulled up & blown toward ceiling, out to side walls, and down to the floor. Makes the room temp more even.

    That's what I was thinking. .

Your gonna probably need that one to blow "down" ? A ceiling that tall, with a fan in it, may not have the "Umph" the pull the air up and push it down the walls (all the way).

Always glad to help. These stoves are expensive units and you don't need a problem during the real cold days.
