Stocking up on my smoking/grilling wood

    Got my chop saw for about $20 at a pawn shop. Good buy, been a good saw.

    I've tried all the above methods except table saw which seems risky. Using 1 big round is the fastest way besides actually cutting smaller 2 to 3 inch diameter limbs the size you need the first time. Cutting cookies and then using hatchet or axe is also pretty fast. 4 or 5 inch cookies split real easy.

    Chop saws are dangerous without clamping each split for each cut. Trust me...almost lost a digit. It works fine until it hits a twisty grained piece.
