Stihl vs Husqvarna...

My neighbor used my MS250 to do some limbing up in a lift and he loved it. Now he's wanting to buy a new MS250 but I'm trying to talk him into the Redmax GZ4350 instead. 1/4 pound lighter, pro set up, same power, adjustable oiler, and other reasons... even costs less...

I'll use your evaluation to get him to spend his money wisely. He just bought a Jonsered 2166 that has a MM and BGD and he's in heaven over that buy... I'm trying to assist his CAD... LOL

 

Oopsy, actually I used to run and 18" bar and chain on the 543. 12" is on my Jred 2139t

 

Link is above. Same saw as the Husqvarna 543xp. Red max / Zenoah makes the 543xp.

 

Id hands down buy the red max over the ms250.

 

I might get an 18" tsumura or sugi for the 543.

 

Wonder if Cheng Foo makes one in creamsicle colors for the Stihl luvrs

 

That red max deal is making my CAD want to flare up... that's a pretty good value.

Yes it is. Especially considering what the orange Husqvarna version cost normally. That 543 sake was power head only and $420 with shipping. The RedMax was free shipping, no taxes added and has a bar and chain.

 

That didn't love you long time did it.

 

So cannon makes a bar called the Super Bar Duralite. They now have them in 16" and 18" with their C1 universal Mount that allows it ro be used on my 241 and the 543 if I want. I'm trying to find one on line but so far no luck.

I think some companies will ship to the US. I think someone on AS forum bought one from Mowers2Go. I remember that there was a delay in shipping but it got sorted out.

Thanks for links. I read all three pages of the AS thread. I'm saving the mowers to go link in case my CAD goes haywire. More haywire. Im in the garage yesterday muttering about all the saws laying around. There is going to be a great reduction of lesser saws soon.

 

So today is our 23 year anniversary and tomorrow his her birthday. There won't be any chainsaw cutting impressions this weekend most likely. If there is any, not till Sunday evening.

 

I gave in to temptation. Ordered it yesterday. $339 shipped is one heck of a deal. Already shipped and arriving Wednesday.
