Picked these up last week though. They are a bit rough but have good compression.







The one on the left had a knock on the top. No serious damage but the air shroud is broken. I have a replacement ready to fit. Then need to find better top covers and the missing bits.

 

Will that seller ship out of the country? I think Stihl really frowns upon this. Shipping equipment to areas they aren't offered. Good thing I have one already. Man it's a sweet saw too. All ported and lightweight. To bad everyone can't get one if they wanted...

Also there is a slight change of plans. I'm buying the red max version instead of another 543. Same exact saw but red and black for $70 less.

No they wont ship to the US. I was hoping to find a NOS one somewhere here. I think Eggshooterist got the last one.

 

Ordered my 543XP today, I’m only bummed that you can’t get it with heat.

 

You're to cheap to pay what a NOS unit would go for. Buy that redmax, get it ported. Pretend its a 241 but slimmer.

You are correct, but would a NOS be priced at what market was at the time Stihl discontinued it in the US?
