The efco seems to be a clamshell design....if that makes any difference to CAD sufferers...

Well I'm pretty impressed with this little stinker, it really screams!
Limbed a few nasty cedars this afternoon, I liked it well enough that I didn't run the 241 at all today.
With gloves the vibes didn't bother me at all.
Seems like it's ready for a good time, but nothing serious.
Reminds me of the ole 242 huskies, but I think it's got more torque... maybe..

I found gloves eliminated the vibration. Mines getting better power wise but then I'm not limbing either. Small saw abuse... lol

And that price point.... can't beat it with a million red cedar sticks.

Yessir, is a lot of bang for the buck.

I did some small saw abuse to it today sawing off those stupid blobs at the base of the limbs trying to make roundish logs..

I made another variation of felling spikes for the 543 / 4350 today. Working on a couple more.

I'll be doing a muffler mod before much longer. I'll share results.

    Good deal.
I pulled the spark screen out yesterday.... that's why I took the top cover off.

Mine is in place. Ya know, you can remove the muffler without removing the top cover.

Do you know what models they are? I can only find three models for sale anywhere and only two are true redmax.

So to muddy the waters further…. It looks like Echo isn’t playing around with their new pro style 42cc saw:

    CS-4310SX, chain saws | ECHO | ECHO

not available in North America yet I don’t think.
