    I remember those being stupid expensive new. For some reason about $400 sticks in my brain.

    Dang.. Brand new!

    I'd see what his bottom dollar is (and not $250). But like MasterMech said, they were a pricey option. But they protect your equipment. So they did sell quite a few. The inside of mine is what doesn't look that good. The outside is in decent shape.
