    When I worked at the mill we suddenly got a 2 week layoff because of a large cancelled order...went home, packed up, headed to Sarasota for a week...perfect! :thumbs:

    I'm assuming that was before _____nomics though, when things weren't so tight? :whistle: A lot of people have chewed through their savings recently to get by, and many are even worse off living on credit cards.

    That changes everything. Before I had kids I could drop 10 grand on a 3 week vacation to Europe and not sweat it. Now I've been reduced to contemplating sewing the holes in my pants for the 27th time or going to Goodwill :rofl: :lol:
