That is what is cool about the old saws, gives you an idea of how good we have it these days. That saw is older than the average age of most members at 46 years. By the time I was 30 I was so broken up from MX racing, I can't believe it. I got more metal in my right leg than there is in a 36" bar.

I'm not sure if the Poulan's charisma came from the machine or the operator. That smile looks like Dex is about to swipe the last cookie in the jar. :thumbs:

Well he had cut a few cookies before making the vid, so he already knew it was a 6500 RPM pig of a saw!

The smile was because it is cool as he ll to run. It takes you back and really makes you appreciate the saws of today.

But, I know everyone that gets to run it at the GTG's and events that KilliansRedLeo goes to, will have that same smile and feeling

I very much enjoyed it. It meant a lot when he told me to have fun with it and make a video for everyone. I was just gonna box it up and ship it out. I will be packing it up tonight or tomorrow, so he can have it by the weekend. Thanks again KilliansRedLeo.

No problem Dexter, ship it when you can, family comes first. If you have a chain pitch guage, see if you can figure out if it is 7/16 or .404 chain.

Could that saw have come with either? Seems like you could find specs for it?

Mike Acres site has all the info. It came with either 7/16 or .404 standard with 3/8 as an option.

I'm also gonna order a new Cant for when you come out. This thing is super hard and shreds more than it cuts..

    I paid $250 for 5 of them ($50 a piece).

But they are right next door and I have a pretty good relationship with them (Amish Sawmill).

Neighbor pricing. I help them work on some of their equipment and sharpen a few chains and they give me a deal on lumber and any scrap wood they get.
