Do you think the raker file is sometines to harsh on the rakers, and we should check the raker height before having it in the tool and just use the round file if rakers are not overly high.

    YES!!!!!
I only adjust rakers every two to three sharpenings using the 2in1. I just take out the flat file and use as directed.

I cant seem to work my 2-1 very well. I’ve watched videos, but I still suck at it!

If you have the correct Stihl sharpening tool to match your chain, just put the round file into the chains cutting tooth, keeping tool flat across chain at 90 degrees and at a 30 degree angle, doing one side of cutting teeth 3 to 4 strokes then switch to the other side of chain doing the same.
As other posters have said if chains rakers do not need filing remove the raker file and just use the round file.
Watch Steves Small Engine Saloon web site video of his first time using the Stihl 2 in 1 tool.

You suck at it till you dont, like stated if you have the correct size for your chain it should be fairly straightforward, take your time and it will fall into place.

Yes, sometimes, but it might depend on how hard you push down on the 2 in one tool, which might be my problem, causing me to end up with rakers that are a tad too low.
And yes, I find the raker file takes the rakers down too low for me, sometimes.

Sometimes it seems like my 2in1 takes a touch to much off the rakers. Little grabby at first but it also seems after a half tank of fuel it straightens itself out. I hope that makes sense I have been beering,,

They are not made in China, but rather by Pferd, which is a German company that also has at least one location in Wisconsin. Pferd makes their CSX line and the orange and white Stihl ones.

There's a lot of knock offs that probably are Chinese. I'd steer clear of those Chinese ones.

Pferd is a tool company. They make the files and surely farm out the plastic molded handles. Blue or white and orange. They are exactly the same just different color handles.

What size for the 2 in 1 or pferd do you use? In pferd, for 3/8 there's 2 sizes of CSX. Stihl says to use one size and woodland pro says another on their 3/8 0.50 chain.

Eh. Stihl would defer to pferd. Since they make them for Stihl.

I agree, this tool is great. I used to hate sharpening chains but this tool makes it almost enjoyable.
