Or just say you traded some ol piece of junk for your brand new ms400c or you got a killer deal on it, or just buy it. You gotta have the right equipment and backups because you never know when a big log opportunity will appear. More power bigger wood! Saws pay for themselves and new light and more powerful saws cause less fatigue, so you can cut longer, make more firewood and have energy left over for the mrs.

 

I give min the old excuse or explanation ; call it what you will.

" Well Honey ; I can either buy a new saw so I can cut wood to keep us warm during the winter ..... or .......I can just give that money to the oil man. " If I buy a saw it will last for years and pay for itself over and over again , If I don't buy the saw and pay the oil man then it just goes right out the window and then I have to pay him again the following year.
