    LOL!!! His help made a HUGE difference. Schlepping rounds out of the woods is not fun. Very close to the staging area was a plus. We looked at the others farther back and with the racks right there, ill probably refill a year from now with the same. Those will still be there.

    Very common for reds do that. White not so much. I was surprised too.

    I split that first round today and it didnt even go all the way through ot the other end of the 16" round. I didnt cut off that stump, but did the other. Had the 25" bar on the 500 for felling duties,

    Thanks for the kind comment. :handshake: I wish everything else i did was as "organized". Some of my other firewood storage areas are not as "pretty":emb:

    My neighbor comments on my neat stacks, but chuckles at the other clutter laying around.

    Split the rest today. Topped off the stack. Need another rack. IMG_2720.JPG IMG_2722.JPG Separated out heartwood splits. These will get stacked on their own. I have a customer who loves oak heartwood. IMG_2721.JPG
