Nice, Gas- now tell the truth, did you stand those splits back up, or are you just THAT good?:axe:
Have you or anyone else tried the smaller Fiskars chopping ax?

    Aw shucks- my bad!:wacky:
No, I haven't gotten a hold of one yet- the X27 is a little long in the handle for my wife to comfortably wield, seeing as she's about 5'4"
The X27 was her Valentines Day gift... What?!- she didn't want flowers!- so I mite add:)smoke:) one to the tool rack to accommodate her height! Sweet, ain't I? I love that X27, now I just need to get as skilled with it as you, Gas!

I bought an X25 because they did not have the x27 in stock when I got the itch to buy one. While I like it, it seems a little too short, I am 5' 8". I think it would be a perfect size for your wife. If I am not mistaking it is 8" shorter than you X27

X25 works for me , don't know if it really matters about your height or not but I'm 5'3"

That's great HD, seems like its shorter handle may be an advantage in steering the ax, versus me easily landing accurate strikes with the X27- I'm 6'2" and I guess I've swung an ax a whole lot more than my honey! But, she needs to get as good as me, and then move up to Gasifier's level- she's real competitive, so watch out for the pics, Gas:yes:!

I am a bad aim with everything , that's the biggest reason I got the X25 all my handles are broke :hair:
